New to blog

Mountain biking on peavine last week. There are so many trails on the front side of peavine it is a shame that more people don't take advantage of them. There are over 15 singletrak trails on the front side alone. These trails are great for hiking, or biking. Many people park at the softball fields near Unr and hike up the side of the hill. This spot is a lot of fun beacaues you go from the pavement to the dirt right away, there is many access points even from San Rafel park. You can go under the street or you can go over the road. Either way it takes only seconds to leave your car and your are on your way. My favorite trail is the one that goes through the lower woods section called Sleepy Hallow. this trail is supposed to be only for hikers, but most people are ok with bikers coming through. When I ride i am always nice and pull off the trail when other people are on there way through. Especially if there is a dog on a leash, that combination of a leashed dog and a bike is always dangerous. I have crashed once before on the very trail because of a similar situation.
